I’ve had the opportunity to work across startups, corporations, nonprofits, and academia — with successes, mistakes, and lessons along the way. I’ve learned that creating software products isn’t just about functionality — it's about how the product embodies the company's brand promise through user experience, messaging, design consistency, good code, compliance, and customer trust.
I’ve taught at major universities, co-founded nonprofits, helped build massively funded startups, advised scrappy businesses, launched wine labels, secured patents and trademarks, published, and designed new curricula. Through it all, from acquisitions to lay-offs, I’ve learned that nothing matters more than the people you work with.
