Dashboards, Metrics, and Receipts
Easily some of the most fun and challenging work to come across a product designer’s desk. It’s fun, because it allows the designer to create unique visuals for data communication, but difficult, because visuals are easily misinterpreted. These challenges often appear in dashboards, billing, and metrics pages inside of a product. Good metrics can drive usage, but bad metrics and insights are ignored.
